Hi all and thanks for being so active on these forums! I think I've learned a lot looking on here. Though I definitely still have some questions. Rather, several questions.
Firstly, I'm capturing footage with a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 from a PS4 and attempting to stream it to Youtube.
Firstly, I can't seem to understand the idea of keeping the video at 720p with this thing as I've read several conflicting responses and outdated opinions across several forums.
If I output at 720p will the HD PVR 2 work appropriately? I would like to be able to stream 720p60 if possible.
Additionally, we were testing a stream the other day and the sound through the mic was awful and I believe it was actually Voicemeeter, but the effect is not replicated while recording footage normally. The audio was jumpy and doubled at times. Turning off voicemeeter fixed it, but without that application the mic quality is much worse.
The last question I have is do you guys know a reason why the quality dips during fast gameplay such as an fps? I can't seem to fix it no matter what. This is during recording mainly, but I've seen it during the test stream as well. I will gladly post a log, but I'm unsure if it will be much help. Thanks ahead of time for any and all replies.
