Has anyone tried to record a BBC iPlayer recording on PC screen yet?

I'm trying to record a BBC iPlayer program for personal use, but merely get a black screen. I've been successful before but on a much better machine. Now trying on a Lenova laptop but it won't work at all. Anyone any ideas what I can do?

Ok, thanks. I'll take that as "cannot help". Fine, I'll find a better screen recorder.
