Has Anyone Had Luck With Any Type of Instant Replay?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if there was any type of instant replay function out there that anyone is using? I know xsplit had a bootleg way to do it, but I have no intention of going back to that garbage program.

I found a program called Epicrewind which looks promising if they had the ability to standardize your output file name to make a scene that just grabs that file name over and over.

Other than that I can't really find anything and just saw one post when I searched these forums so. Any help is appreciated!

Hm, an interesting feature. I'll have to think about one. Though I suppose this is more for the suggestions forum

vMix has a replay function of sorts. You can set a "delay" source that saves a buffer of the last X seconds of video from another given source (such as the main Output), and you can hit a "Save" button that grabs the buffer in its current state and encodes it to a file. The file is then immediately added as a new video source to be played back (the new version also adds it to a playlist). The files also have a speed slider that let you play it faster or slower, if you want to do slow-mo.

Basically, it does what EpicRewind does, but it captures whatever the output window is showing (including overlays) and immediately adds the resulting replay files to the program to be displayed again.

Moved to Feedback and Suggestions.

I'll test it out on vMix and see if I can come up with something. Seems this is a really old article but its a feature I keep getting questions about when casting CS:GO events.
