Question / Help Hardlock Instantly With New CPU.

Hello,

Today I installed an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz. Every time I hit start streaming, it will either hard lock my computer instantly, or a few minutes into my stream. By hard lock I am referring to the computer being unresponsible / freezing, not BSOD. It requires a hard restart to make it responsive again. This did not occur until I installed the new CPU. My previous CPU that did not lock even once was an Intel Core i5-2500k CPU @ 3.30GHZ. Not sure what is causing the difference between being able to stream with no issues yesterday, and not able to after installing a new cpu.

Here are my specs:
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
Intel Core i5-2500k @ 3.30GHz
16 GB GSkill Ripjaw Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 (was a 580)
GeForce 314.21 Beta Driver Released March 14th 2013.
ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Performance LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I have a log of the most recent crash, but it made this topic post quite long. I will post at a user's request.

Thank you for your time and help.

I would recommend simply resetting all BIOS settings to default. With the new Sandy/Ivy Bridge boards, there is usually a Clear CMOS button on the back of the motherboard next to all your USB and Keyboard/Mouse inputs that you hold in for a few seconds. Though, to be really sure you clear everything out, it's recommended to take the battery out of the motherboard for, like, 10 minutes and then put it back in.
