Question / Help h264 or AMD Driver?

I have a MSI Radeon RX480 GPU. When setting up OBS I have AMD encoders in the drop down as well as the x264 encoders. Which do i use?

Also, I am a noob to this streaming thing. My streams look really good until I start moving around in high lit areas. The screen gets all pixelated. Here are my current settings:

My Current Stream Settings:
Audio Track 1
Encoder: H264/AVC Encoder (AMD Advanced Media Framework)
"Enforce Streaming..." is checked
Rescale Output: Unchecked but 1920x1080
Preset: Indistinguishable
Quality Preset: Speed
Rate Control (grayed out): Constant CQP
Pre-Pass: Disabled
I-Frame QP/P-Frame QP: 15
Keyframe Interval: 2.00
View Mode: Basic
Debug Unchecked

My Rig:
Radeon RX480 and an OC'd 6700K i5 @ 4.6ghz

I will settle for 720p @ 30fps if this will get rid of the pixelation when moving. Just need help figuring out the settings I should be using.

Thanks!

EDIT: meant x264 in thread subject.

You are using completely wrong settings for streaming. If you don't know how to set up encoders properly, use the Simple output mode instead - it offers way easier controls, but removed the ability to have more than one audio track written to the recording file.

If you however want to keep using Advanced, don't use recording presets for streaming. Instead select the Twitch or YouTube preset, depending on what you are streaming to. High Quality, Indistinguishable and Lossless are recording presets and will not work for streaming unless you have several gigabit of internet upstream. (CQP 15 requires at least 240mbit/s stable to manage motion.)

Thank you! I will attempt to use those presets you suggested.

I have streamed to both YT and Mixer. Both result in similar issues when moving around.
