Bug Report GW2 Streaming Difficulties

Before I get started, I want to just say: Yes, I have checked through the previous threads concerning GW2. None of them were too helpful, because they either regarded crashes or laptops, neither of which is my problem.

I noticed the new build of OBS does not have a software capture mode, which is what I used to use to capture video games (instead of the actual video game capture mode). I don't know the difference between the two, really, but I just figured I should mention that I never had a problem streaming anything with the software capture mode.

When I try to stream, all I get is a black screen and the audio both from my microphone and my computer (the game included).

I have tried streaming the game via monitor streaming, window streaming, and game capture streaming, and it doesn't work. Every other game I have tried (Kerbal Space Program, Bioshock Infinite, FTL, and The Walking Dead) has worked just fine. Here is the log of my last attempted preview stream.

Run GW2 as a borderless window and try game capture or window capture. I have no issues capturing it. My sole issue with it is that GW2 is FAR too resource heavy, I can't get it captured without at least 5% framelag (PC falling behind). And no matter what I do, I can't get it to look good either.

I've all but given up. Anyhow, as I said... run it as a borderless window and you should be fine.

I checked earlier and I cannot reproduce this issue. GW2 streams perfectly fine with Window or Game Capture, and no performance loss at all.

"software capture" was simply split into "window capture" and "monitor capture", which is the same exact capturing code, but with two different windows to separate the two. They are identical to the old software capture.
