Guest on Live Stream?

Is there an easy/clean way to have a (remote) guest join on (like can be done with streamyard)?

The workaround I've seen is via doing a skype with the guest, and then using a display device window over the skype frame, and then a funky workround to get the guest's audio to be included in the OBS output.

This, of course, would work for recording, streaming and virtual camera.

But is there an easier way??

Thanks!

AMAZING, just one thing! When you drag/drop the URL, it adds as browser just fine . . . but it's a black image (not my video feed) with two buttons on the top (Share your camera, Share your screen). I can't click on those in OBS 26.1.2 Mac . . . and I don't even SEE those buttons on the OBS.ninja window open in my browser. I basically don't see a place to be ABLE to click on "share my camera" (or share my screen).

Thanks!!

I suggest you look at the guides for how to use it. It sounds like you put the URL to "Share With Guests" into OBS, rather than the second URL (Use in OBS or other studio software to capture the group video mix).

You'll need to have at least 1 guest in the room to get any video.

I'm still not sure how to capture Ninja into the OBS session. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks,
VDO.Ninja works through a browser. So in order to capture the video/audio from the browser you need to create a browser source within OBS and paste the link that VDO.Ninja provides you.

1. Go to VDO.Ninja in an internet browser (Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox) and press "Create a Room".
2. Enter in the settings you would like for the room, and you can even add yourself (director) into the room with your own camera and microphone.
3. Copy the OBS Browser Source Link located to the upper right of the screen. (Should be called "Capture a Group Scene")
4. Go to OBS and add a "Browser" in the Sources section.
5. Paste the link you copied from VDO.Ninja into the URL field.

You may also add your camera from VDO.Ninja to OBS.

1. Go to VDO.Ninja and press "Add Your Camera to OBS".
2. Press "Start" then copy the link at the upper left of the screen.
3. Go to OBS and add a "Browser" in the Sources section.
4. Paste the link you copied from VDO.Ninja into the URL field.

This will allow you to capture the group scene in OBS. When others join your room this will be seen in OBS.
Also, when you add your camera to OBS through VDO.Ninja this is running through your browser. So you could have a browser camera and add a "Video Capture Device" in the Sources section as well.
Now you can record the people who are in the room with you.

Helpful tips

- When adding the VDO.Ninja browser into OBS, check the option which says "Control audio via OBS"
This will stop OBS from using system audio and browser audio which stops the audio from doubling up.

- Change the width and height of the browser to adjust for different camera resolutions.
