i've been using OBS for quite some time now and the overall performance of the stream has been amazing (in terms of output). 4790k, GTX 970 (single gpu).
however, i recently added a 2nd 970 and the output performance took a hit. the gameplay is still smooth for me, but i can see the slight lag within OBS and on the stream itself. upon disabling SLi in Nvidia CP it goes back to normal and smooth. obviously one doesn't buy multiple cards just to have to disable all but 1 in order to stream.
essentially, im just looking for any advice or fix, etc. i read that dxtory has an "enable multi gpu fix code" or something like that, but im hesitant on making the purchase as im not entirely convinced that it would cure the problem. thoughts?
i stumbled upon a tweet from OBS Project back in 2013: http://gyazo.com/cc1b6d254bdeec1ad6e1fe7e462dbc01
& i wasn't sure if maybe something had changed within the software or perhaps someone found a workaround or fix of sorts.
any ideas or advice?
thanks in advance.
