Question / Help gtx 780 + nvenc(any preset)= encoder failed

more info:

windows 8.1 x64
dual monitor setup(extended)
OBS v0.635b forced to use gtx780

occurs with both x64 and x86 obs versions

Nvidia drivers: 344.11

Okay..I had to make a new scene..from scratch which solved this.

Anyhow..I've looked into the quick sync method and of course ran into problems also. So both my 2500k and p8z68-v pro should be capable of using quicksync. Multi gpu is enabled in bios. All drivers updated. One monitor to the gtx 780 and one to hd3000 iGPU. Both monitors are working where the main display is the one connected to the gtx 780 and is extended to the hd3000's connected monitor..Still quicksync is greyed out in obs. Installed lucid virtu and added obs. This makes obs crash as soon as I start it. What am I missing?
