Question / Help Green screen with Video

Hi everyone,
I'm completely new to OBS so here's a little resume :
I'm shooting Rink Hockey sport as a hobby, and plan to stream some games over internet. I've an updated computer (i5-7400/16GB/500GB SSD/ GTX1050) with one black magic mini recorder card.

I've tried to put a single cam behind and the first streaming test was successful. I'm working now on the way it'll look. So I've created some transparent PNG that contains some of the infos I want to insert... it seems to work too... So Far So Good ! :)

I would like also to shoot someone that will sum up a game with a green frame beside him, so i can insert a video, or a logo... how can this be possible ? I don't know if it's the right thing to do, as i may simply insert a video as a new source.. but i'd like it to be resized, and with a specific position... is there a way to do this ? a tuto somewhere ?

Thanks in advance for any tip ;)

Regards
S.

You don't need the green frame. Just add the video over the person talking. It's called a "Picture-in-Picture" (or PiP) effect.

If you need help with framing your shot, just create a blank video source at the position and resolution you want the playback video/logo to be at, frame your shot, then record a few frames with it there and then hide said source.

Thanks a lot for your quick answer... i guess that PIP will do the trick.

now what if i want to wipe out the backgroud of the guy shot ? For instance, i shoot myself in my attic and want to pretend i'm outside... then the green screen will be necessary... is there a solution for this case ?

Yes, in that case a Green Screen would be necessary. There are TONS of videos and articles written about how to setup and light a green screen.

As to keying in OBS, right-click on the source->Filters and add a color or Chroma key.
