new to OBS but think I'm gonna love it once I get the hang of it.
Using it for recording only atm and not planning to broadcast.
I have the issue that I'm seeing a grey haze overlay in the preview as well as in the recordings.
I verified that the grey haze is not a problem of the player (using multiple players on multiple computers with multiple OSes as well as uploading to youtube and verifying there)
It also appears that the haze is not an OSB specific problem as I'm seeing the same when using SimpleScreenRecorder.
So my guess is that there is a color correction setting or customized XServer parameters to be used to correct this.
All the somewhat relevant answers I could find are specific to NVIDIA cards on windows, so not really applicable.
Here's a screen shot using the test image as it says to use it: image loaded as reference on top in the upper left corner overlaying the screen capture:
