For some reason OBS 24.0.1 is using close to 60% GPU when I have a media source active. Task Manager is showing the reason being "Video Decoding".
I reinstalled OBS 23.2.1 and at most, using the exact same scene, OBS uses 15% GPU.
This is the main OBS process, not a browser source or other process.
I noticed it today at the end of my stream when I opened op my browser to find a channel to host. The moment I loaded the channel (and had a media source playing as the backdrop for my ending scene), my broadcasting PC began to become super choppy and unresponsive. It appears that the media source in 24.0.1 and my web browser were competing for GPU time and conflicting with each other.
I have since reversed to 23.2.1 and disabled GPU Video Decoding in my web browser.
The GPU is an R9 390.
I still have both copies of OBS installed, so if any specific logs are required, please let me know. The issue occurs the moment I launch OBS 24, regardless of broadcasting status. It also happens if the video is being played in the background (off canvas).
