Question / Help Gpu Streaming Problems!

I have always been able to stream and recently got a new gaming laptop.
I tried streaming many times but the stream was soooo laggy! So I checked if I was using my gpu in the nvidia control panel and it said I was using my cpu. So I switched. Now I cannot display my screen via display capture or capture games. I switched back to cpu and it works again! Anyone know how to use my gpu without it not letting me stream?! My internet upload and download speeds are perfect for 1080p streaming.
Thank you!

apply this steps if needed

1. 60hz desktop refresh
2. 60 or 30 in obs
3. 60 in game if there is switch for it (like bf3, bf4, overwatch)
4. vsync in game on
5. run obs as admin
6. make sure your gpu can do stable 60fps in game without being maxed. OBS needs some of gpu resources as well. If you enabled vsync@60 and its still maxed lower resolution and/or details.
(replace with 59,94 and 29,97 for 59,94 display like hdmi tv)
with 144hz monitor its fastest and most reliable to sacrifice 144 and follow 1,2,3,4

apply this tweak to fix gpu mem clock drop when using nvenc

I do still need help but I just read this. If for some reason you need to Monitor/Display capture, you need to set OBS to run on the Intel GPU, as that's where the monitor display is rendered.
Does this mean I have to use my cpu as the entire stream lags if so and will mean I wont be able to stream :/

i gave you universal cooking recipe that works if you wont ignore it and use it
use game capture and this tip
Nvidia's control panel -> 3D settings on the left -> Global tab on the right -> Click the drop-down box below that, select the nvidia -> Click Apply and OK -> Restart OBS and game.

when you are done applying it, post new log with streaming session
