Hello everyone!

I want to set-up dedicated PC for streaming, using NDI over network. My PC is relatively strong (Ryzen 7 1700, 1080ti 11gb...) but on some games it's lagging while playing, not the game but stream. So, that's the reason for dedicated streaming pc.

Now the question, what would run better:
1. Ryzen 1700/2600 with x264 with some crappy GPU
2. nvidia gtx1660ti with nvenc with some crappy CPU

Any suggestions?

But don't use a too crappy GPU either, because compositing the video also requires some minimum amount of GPU power. Some streamers, for example, have a scene setup so complex that the iGPU of the Intel processors is not powerful enough to support that setup. They get lagged frames due to rendering lag.

A streaming PC still needs a somewhat balanced setup between CPU and GPU. None of the components can be neglected. A gaming PC usually has a balanced setup with GPU as priority, while a streaming PC usually has a balanced setup with CPU as priority.
