GPU Encoding Overload Randomly Happening

So I got a new PC a few months back. I was recording with OBS in 240 FPS in 1080p without any trouble. Recently, the quality has gone down and my recordings have started lagging. I checked my stats and saw the almost always over 95% of my frames were skipped due to encoding lag. I don't recall tampering with any settings and even changed some things but that didn't help. 60 and 120 FPS work fine, but I don't like the quality and I want to record in 240 FPS. I have an RTX 3050, Intel i5 12600KF, 16 gigs of ram, and a 500 GB SSD(not very specific on some parts). I've been debating opening my case and checking my graphics card, but I don't know much the inside of a PC so I don't think that would help. I have also noticed that OBS has being using up 40-50% of my GPU, and recording and playing games often causes my fps to drop a ton as I believe OBS wants to use more of my GPU but can't. Anybody know why all of a sudden, my GPU can't really handle recording in 240 FPS? It worked perfectly fine until a few days ago I believe(although I haven't recorded that much lately). Also, a few days ago my quality had decreased, now my entire recording is lagging. It might have to do something with when I changed settings, but I'm not sure.(I only record Minecraft on Lunar Client). Any suggestions?

I actually fixed it by deleting OBS then reinstalling it and changing all my settings back to what it was. Thanks though!
