Question / Help Good settings for local 1080p?

Hello,
I've tried all types of settings, I just can't seem to find some that work. It usually freezes at one frame.

I have 16.0 GB of RAM and a Intel Core i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz. My computer is 64 bit and I'm using Windows 10 Home.

Not sure if you need it, but my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970. I get 65400 kbps.

I mainly record speedarts, Minecraft, and rarely League of Legends.

Feel free to ask me any other questions
Thanks!

30fps or 60? YouTube Recommends 8,000kbs for 30fps 1080p and 12,000 for 60fps. Since you have a solid GTX, you could also try encoding with NVIDIA and see if that produces better results!

What settings should I use for NVIDIA?
1080p60 even on ultrafast is extremely taxing on an i5 2500 your best shot would be using NVENC

Here are NVENC Settings included
This is for OBS studio, will it also work on classic?

I'm using Classic OBS not Studio. Is Studio better? Also, those settings say to set my NVIDIA to High Quality, correct? Bitrate? YouTube Recommends 1080

Again, that depends if you want 30fps or 60. I'd say if it's 30 try 3400 kbs bitrate. If it's 60fps play around between 8,000 and 12,000. Besides that keyframe interval should be set between 1 and 4 (try them all, but most people set theirs to 4).

I only posted the Studio Settings since there were NVENC Settings within as I mentioned.

For the Preset you either use "Low Latency High Quality" or only "Hight Quality" when encoding with NVENC. Depending on what resolution and FPS you are aiming for the Bitrate changes. If you want 1080p60 I would recommend using 20000-30000 Bitrate if its 720p60 I would say around 10000-15000Bitrate.

All other Settings on NVENC can pretty much left on default. Since Youtube wants High Profile anyway.

On the Advanced Tab you should check CFR for constant Framerate.

Since Im recording with OBS Studio and dont have a Computer with a Nvidia Card infront of me right now I cant really tell you any Settings in Detail out of my mind.
