Question / Help Good enough for streaming?

So I want to start streaming but I want to know if my system and internet connection is good enough for it.

What I do is connect an Iphone to my Roxio to display a live display of the iphone which has it's camera open and displayed at my 3DS. Then use obs to capture the source from Roxio software. So I won't be streaming games actually on the pc like GTA, LOL, or any other game.

Just ran a test on testmy.net and it came back with Upload :: 10.7 Mbps, would they be good enough for streaming?

Also a pic below of my current settings for streaming, should I change anything? Also attached a log file.

10m up is definitely sufficient but I'm not 100% sure how the i3 fares. I suppose since like you already mentioned it is being used as a dedicated encoder it might just suffice especially with the downscale you're using. the camera on display method might give you trouble though but that of course isn't performance related.

I have tried to stream it and when I tried to check in chrome or on my phone the stream would be playing then black screen then playing again.

Here is a link to a recorded stream I tested out http://www.twitch.tv/mrsincypher/v/51964226

Don't know if that recording shows the same quality as when streaming or it just saves a good quality which was completely different from what was actually displayed.

If that recording is exactly what I was streaming than my only problem is the audio out of sync.
