I have a brand new laptop it is windows 10 with a ssd, intel core i5, 8gb ram and it is a x64.
But whenever I even start obs my whole computer slows down and starts lagging. When I am recording minecraft I get around 150fps but when I am recording with obs my fps drops down to 20. After I am done recording I looked at the recording and the audio is fine but the video is all choppy and laggy (the video freezes on 1 frame for 5 seconds and then freezes on another frame. I searched on youtube and obs forums for ways to fix this but none of the ways work please help me! For some reason windows game dvr and fraps works just fine its just obs that lags too much.
