Question / Help Glitchy audio when recording

When I record it makes glitchy sounds like its a very low bitrate. Ive checked all the settings and it all seems right so being at a loss i have come here for help, hopefully someone will have reccommendation as to what it might be.
I could send a recording so you can see what im talking about if it would help, thanks for any suggestion in any case.
Just trying to figure this out now.
 
This is ound by checking the properties of the microphone in the sound settings of the control panel? If so just checked and yes it is. Fast response btw!
