Glitched/corrupted frames during stream - screen tearing?

Hello all!

I have been having some frames get corrupted/glitched, and it seems like something different than conventional screen tearing or dropped frames. I have tried to look up similar problems but haven't found anything. Corrupted frames are happening downstream from cameras, seeming like either an OBS problem, or my ATEM Mini Pro, but I'll also drop the camera info down below too just in case. It's possible I don't have my stream settings set up properly. Frames appear in recordings as well.

Have any of you seen this before?

Here is a Google Drive folder with some examples. Screenshots and a video example. Please note that I have added black bars over some faces to protect privacy.

Running OBS Studio 30.2.2

ATEM Mini Pro, Version 8.6.3

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8705G CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10 GHz
Radeon RX Vega M GL Graphics
64GB DDR4 Ram

PTZOptics 12x-SDI Gen2 Camera
PTZOptics 20X-SDI Gen 2 Camera

1. Having the YUV Color range set to "Full" will cause playback issues in certain browsers and on various video platforms. Shadows, highlights and color will look off. In OBS, go to "Settings -> Advanced" and set "YUV Color Range" back to "Limited".

Your ATEM Mini and Output are both set to 30 FPS, but are your cameras set to exactly 30 FPS or 60 FPS?

Hey qhobbes - Thank you for replying!

Yes cameras, OBS, and ATEM are all true 30fps. No 29.976 here.

I'll give the YUV Color Range a try. The issue I'm having is less about the highlights and shadows, and more about whole frames becoming glitched out/corrupted.

Update 9/8/2024: Changing YUV Color Range to 'Limited' did not stop the glitched frames from appearing. Going to try a different video encoder. Currently using x264 and am going to try AMD HW H.264 (AVC) and see if that helps.

Weird GPU & it looks like AMD doesn't support it but Intel does. The installed driver appears to be from 2022/stale. Last update was 2023 & might fix those glitches.
