Question / Help Getting the output at 720p

Hello i have a question here, i have been using OBS for a while now to stream.
My question here is if i can somehow force my stream to be at 720p, the main problem is that my monitor isn't big enough to downscale to 1280x720. My maximum resolution i can have is 1680x1050, i used to use Xsplit a long time ago and there i could put it too actually show 720p on my stream, the closest i can get right now is 700p it seems since my downscaling is at 1120x700.

When i used xsplit and put the outgoing resolution at 720p it actually looked really good and i had no problems that way with the resolution being strange or so.

So my question here is, can i somehow force OBS, like maybe manually rewrite or anything how the downscale should work for me so i can get 720p out on my stream?

1152x720 Put that in "Custom:" (Videosetting)
1280x720 would crop your stream (1280-1152=128/2=64Pix top and bottom) but 16:9 monitor users wouldn't see borders on right and left side. You also can put that in "Custom:" (Videosetting)

Your decision.

Oh what, i didn't actually know you could do that at all.
So i can put like whatever i want in the custom resolution (aslong as it's smaller then 1680x1050) and then just fit the scene to window and it will look good on the stream?

I thought you had to put your base resolution in the options for OBS.
