Question / Help Getting a lag while screen capturing

Hey team,

I am Ajeeth Rakkapan from India, I am working on for a cause due to this COVID -19. I am helping college faculties to deliver their course content online.

We are using Wacom and OneNote for the writing experience and OBS for screen capturing. We are able to notice a delay mos of the when the contents are being developed. To be more precise, When the faculty is explaining the content, there is a delay in between his voice and the writing.

We are able to observe the response is fine when we are not recording, The lag occurs only when we try to screen capture. The lag is about to 5-10 sec from the voice and the writing. We are recording it offline. Is there is a fix for this?

Display capture is the least performant method. How much performance loss depends on your settings and equipment.

Include a log file if you have a problem: here's how

To upload a log file, go to the Help menu -> Log Files -> Upload current/last log file. The current log file is for the currently active running session. The last log file is for the last time you ran the program. We recommend always including it just in case.

Open OBS. Start an output session (streaming or recording). Observe your issue. Stop the output session. Upload the Current log without quitting OBS.
