Question / Help Geometry Dash Crashes when Previewing/Recording

I've had this problem recently, and I have tried reinstalling Java, OBS Classic, and even deleting some suggested OBS files. Nothing. PC specs below. Help??

CPU: i5 4210H
GPU: GeForce GTX 965M
RAM: 8Gb of GDDR3 (doubt this is useful info)

PS: No, I can't switch to OBS Studio as it gives me unstable FPS, flinging me of slopes.

So wait a sec... you'd rather use a dead program that crashes (i.e. making it impossible to stream/record with) then use a program that lowers your frame rate?

Studio has had a lot of good updates in the 14/15/16/17-series of releases. Why not try it, and if you have an issue, post about it?

It's not that studio drops FPS, for most games, I can deal with that. For Geometry Dash, if you don't have exactly 144fps+, the game physics will bug out and can cause most levels to become impossible. Plus, I never really had any problems with Classic, ran fine for me.
