Question / Help General Questions about lag in game

First off, I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to computers (specs) and OBS. I play League of Legends, from my understanding it's a not so graphic intensive game and I'm pretty sure my internet (150gbps download and 10gbps upload) is good enough to be able to stream it to twitch. However when I run it, during team fights (gets more intensive as more is happening) my game's fps goes from 80ish down to 20 and it also stops my stream completely and makes it choppy at best so my viewers have a poor quality stream. I messed with the bitrate and I only stream at 30 fps. Not sure where to go from here. Please help me out :/

My computer specs are:
AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad-Core Processor
Manufacturer: AMD
Speed: 3.6 GHz
Graphics:
Name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
Chipset: GeForce GTX 650
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Memory: 1024 MB

You need to post a log.

That said I can already tell you that your CPU is really weak, and upgrading it would (most likely) fix your problem... or at least make the frame drops a lot less.

Ah, how come on rank my computer (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/rank-my-computer/processor/rank/) it says that my computer is in the 80th percentile? I knew it wasn't top of the line but I didn't think it was terrible. How do I post a log? Do I have to play with it lagging and then post after? Thanks for the help. Looking to upgrade for christmas anyways.

You'll most likely have to update the BIOS on your computer if you want to swap out the CPU for a more powerful one. Better get an AMD FX-83xx CPU (which will about double your CPU power)... if your motherboard supports it.

As to posting a log, it's marked at the top of the forums... under the "READ HERE FIRST" stuff... that you obviously didn't bother to read....

As to why your CPU is considered weak, even in the top 20%... Well just look at the poor performance it gives you. Just because it's in the top 20% doesn't mean it's strong enough to game and stream with. All that means is that 80%+ of the CPUs out there aren't powerful enough.

My general minimum recommended CPU is a Intel 4-core i5 running at 2.6GHz if you want to do both (stream and game) on the same system, but of course more is better.
