So it's my first time using OBS, and I've looked up and set up the recommended OBS settings for streaming. On Twitch the streams seem to be going ok, downscaled 1280x720p/30FPS with a quality of 6, and 3500kb/s upload limit.
While trying to stream Bf4, the stream is fine, in game ping is fine, but FPS in game drop drastically, that I end up having to lower my usual settings from my custom ultra/medium to low, in order to continue to maintain 55-60FPS while gaming. I was just wondering if that is a normal outcome from streaming with OBS, loss of FPS during in game. I've tried x264 and NVENC options, both seem about the same FPS results, maybe NVENC getting a few less FPS drop than x264.

AMD 6300 @4.3Ghz
16GB Gskill Ram @ 1600Mhz
Nvidia GTX 660 2GB
Asus M5A99FX Pro 2.0
