Question / Help Gaming video extremely choppy

I just started using this program today. I've been trying to record some videos of my gameplay but its sooooooo choppy. so much so that it looks like a delayed slideshow. Also my gameplay isn't choppy at all. just the recorded footage.

There's a lot of problems reported with Windows 10. Make sure all your drivers are updated to the latest. Try it without your webcam as well.

Another thing to try since your game is running fine but OBS is lagging out, try increasing the process priority of OBS a notch above the default.

If none of that works, try the SuperFast or UltraFast x264 preset instead of VeryFast.

Also, 25fps is pretty strange, especially if you're running your monitor at 60Hz. Try 30fps, or 20fps if its still lagging out. If your monitor is actually running at 50Hz, then 25fps capture (1 of every 2 frames) is fine. In reality this shouldn't matter for capturing but it might matter to you later when you actually try to use the video and upload it to YouTube or whatever.
