Hello,

I'm using obs-ndi with my two pc streaming setup, OBS crashes on both my gaming and streaming PC at the same time, and NDI closes itself in the system tray as well. Both PCs are using the same version of NDI 3.7 tools and 3.8 runtime, both OBS versions are 22.0.2. obs-ndi on both machines is version 4.5.3 as well. Windows is fully updated on both and my graphics drivers are newly updated as well. I've attached the gaming and streaming PC crash logs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

When did this started to happen? Did it work yesterday?
And why are you using NDI tools? If you only need the plugin, that's what you should use.

EDIT: I just figured out how to send video without ndi running, thanks for piquing my interest in that. Will report back if this fixes crashing

I'm pretty new to streaming with NDI and originally wasnt using ndi on the gaming pc, just scan converter. Do I really not need ndi installed at all besides the plugin? if so ill uninstall it on both machines and see if that changes anything

https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi/releases

If you look at the instructions, you'll see where you did wrong. I have no idea why you ended up with the tools.
Uninstall the tools, and install ONLY this on both pc's:

https://github.com/Palakis/obs-ndi/releases/download/4.5.3/obs-ndi-4.5.3-Windows-Installer.exe

Then activate the plugin in "Tools" - NDI output settings on the gamer pc. On the streamer, just add a NDI as a source.

OBS hasn't crashed on either pc in the last two days since I followed your instructions and uninstalled all of the NDI tools and am now just using the obs-ndi plugin.

Thanks so much for the suggestion, it worked perfectly.
Cheers!
