This happens when I add Osu! (Or ANY game for the matter, just Osu! is the worst) and I tab back into the game.

This also happens on XSplit but I thought it was simply only an XSplit problem.

When in OBS:

When i tab back into game:

Re: Games shifts up when I tab back

Seems like the game resolution of the window changed or something. Would I be correct?

I don't see how that would happen though. This happens with all of my games in varying degrees.

CS:S
Osu
L4D
VVVVVVV

I select the game area and it does that in XSplit and OBS.
(If I do Game Capture, it fixes the issue, but i still want to fix this)

Are you using the game windowed? I'm confused. If the game is windowed and the resolution isn't changing or anything you shouldn't have any sort of problem. If the resolution -is- changing however there's little you can do other than make sure the resolution doesn't change.

I'm terribly sorry for the late response! D: I'll make a short video clip to expand upon the issue

VIDEO UPDATE 1/227/2013

**Stream Privacy doesn't cause the issue, it happens anyways
**Videocard drivers are up to dave
**I have formatted windows before with a fresh install

I'm assuming it may be a video card?

I have a ATI Radeon HD 3300

I don't think this will fix it, but if you're using Window capture, Aero should be on. The only reason you need to turn Aero off is for Monitor capture.

but there is a little bit of lag, why does Aero have to be enabled when theres an option to automatically disable it?

When you enable Aero for window capture you MUST delete the monitor capture or else you will have problems like the mentioned lag. The sources don't replace each other, they are always active if there are multiples of them in the same scene.
