Question / Help GamerCap Screen Tearing (Horizontal)

Hi guys. I've been using GamerCap with my Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gameing Edition for a while now as i've started streaming console footage. The programme is substantially better than the garbage which is bundled with the HD PVR (ArcSoft) quality wise but i'm having issues with OBS and horizontal screen tearing when capturing using 'Monitor Capture'.

I already have Aero disabled by default on my Desktop and all the other capture things don't seem to work. The 'Video Capture Device' gives me a red square on my screen. Any help would be appreciated, the clip is below so you can see what I mean.

Do not disable Aero and avoid using Monitor Capture at all.
Use Window Capture with a sub-region and leave Aero enabled.

Depending on how it renders the video you could also try to use Game Capture on it.

Hi BtbN. What I mean by disabling Aero was that i've disabled it on the desktop. I'm going to try Window Capture when I stream later today. The following still doesn't work however:

Game Capture - black screen.

Video Capture Device - red box.

I'm guessing that the Game Capture is irrelevant as that's for PC games but the HD PVR does come up under Video Capture Device but again, it's a red box and all the settings are blanked out.

Just use Window Capture with a sub reagion and leave Aero enabled.
Window Capture is only efficient when Aero(Yes, the desktop effects...) are enabled.
