Question / Help Gameplay window doesn't fit screen unless streched

I am using Elgato which, when I use it's own software, records fine.
In OBS it doesn't fit the whole screen. It leaves room on the side which makes me think it is leaving space for a webcam feed and speedrun stats. I am using a webcam but I want to overlay the window over the gameplay.

The only way I can fix this so far is by stretching the gameplay window which looks bad.

Can I reduce the main display window so the size automatically fits the source video?

I have been using a Wii U so far but use lots of consoles.

I found the answer if anyone else needs the help.
Click on the 'Profile' tab at the top of the screen. Then select 'new' and name the profile and select 'OK'.
For some reason the background display changed shape to the correct resolution.
You can then re-shape the input video to fit in the background by holding the 'Shift' key and dragging the corners of the video window.

There is no need to create a new profile, you just need to make sure the canvas is the correct resolution.

How do you do that? I thought I had found cheat way but turns out my videos were squeezed on the sides of my stream after checking. Maybe it was OK in the first place and my monitor resolution is off.
