Question / Help game/window capture issues

i just recently got a new computer and when i try to add a source with game capture or window capture it is not fitting to the screen and the edges of the cropping tool when i go to edit is not lining up with the edges of what im trying to capture. ive tried playing around with the resolution which isnt helping, and tried to change the resolution ingame but that doesnt help either, it captured the game fine on my old computer which was running windows vista ( my new computer is running on windows 10) any suggestion on what might be causing the problem?

So remove and re-add the source, then right-clicit -> position/size - fit to screen.

Then if the thing you're capturing isn't reaching the edges of your screen, it's not operating at a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Your game is not running at a 16:9 resolution like I said.
