Hey,

so my problem is that when im streaming (using game capture) the game looks laggy/choppy for me. It just doesnt look it does when im not streaming. My ingame fps is around 120, stable. I should add that the stream looks perfectly smooth, so the choppy game is only for me, not the viewers.

Anyone know a solution?

Do you mean like in the preview window?

because if that's the case mine does the same thing, records perfectly smoothly though. Happens only when the preview screen is on my second monitor. Can't figure out why

No the preview video is smooth its only the game for me. Stream is completely smooth aswell. It just looks like the game is running with 20fps or something.

So you're saying the game itself looks as if it is running at a lower frame rate than it is actually reporting, while the stream itself looks like the framerate is stable (i.e. the framerate you specified in your video settings)?

Can you post an OBS log for us to check out?

Open a run prompt or an Explorer window and go to: %AppData%\Roaming\OBS\logs

using window capture on the game + aero on while putting the game on a higher priority should definitely eliminate this.. (don't forget to restart the game after removing game capture source) if by laggy you mean ingame latency actions then what's your upload speed?

Laggy was the wrong word. It just looks unsmooth.

Im trying Window Capture instead of game capture now and hopefully its working better then :)

My upload is 5 MB

EDIT:Alright i tried it. Its bascially the same(Looks like running with lower fps than shown, stream smooth tho). What if i change the x264 preset from "veryfast" to anything else?

you should never have to change the preset especially on a good/average streaming computer like yours. veryfast is perfect.. put the game back on game capture with full screen NON windowed go to nvidia control panel 3d settings for the game you're playing then make the pre rendered frame number 4 and apply restart the game.

Its fine in fullscreen thank you for that tip but is there no way i can keep borderless mode? :(
