Question / Help Game looks choppy during recording

Hi all,

Lately I have noticed that whenever recording in OBS, my game becomes slightly choppy. It looks like I am dropping some frames but the steam FPS counter stays consistent at around 60-70. Also, the recordings afterwards look fine. It is only the actual game that seems to look choppy. I tried lowering some settings in-game to see if it made any difference, although like I said, the recording looks fine but it's the game itself. I haven't actually tested on any other games, but the game I am trying to record with Rocket League.

I attached the specs for my system as well.

Use the guide Skelton linked and if you still have problems, post an OBS log file from a five minute or longer attempt using the best settings you've been able to figure out.

Alright, although like I said, the recordings look fine. I have dual monitors and the monitor I am gaming on is the one that looks choppy not the actual recording or preview of recording. I'll see if I can get a log file.
