I am new to recording and streaming so any help would be appreciated. I unfortunately don't have a PC because when we last purchased a computer 3 years ago I was not gaming on PC. I am gaming now and trying to record/stream in OBS. Even though our Mac is newer the main game I play has newer requirements for Mac. So use Boot Camp to run windows and I play on Steam. When I record or stream I get severe lag. I am wondering if this is because of limitations on Boot Camp? I am trying to record/steam at 1080p with 30fps. Running full screen is completely unplayable. I changed my game settings to windowed and reduced the resolution which helped a lot but it is still lagging a lot in the grand scheme of things. I also try reducing graphic settings from Ultra to high but that does seem to help very much. I have tried making sure my bitrate is good. I have it at 8000 kbps for internet speed of almost 400 mbps. I understand boot camp and a pc are not the same, but I would love to figure if this game lag issue is due to limitations on boot camp or if there is something else that could help resolve the issue. I am new to all this as I said, so I would appreciate any responses that could help me understand things better. I have attached a log file from my last game capture recording.
