Question / Help Game high fps, but feels laggy while streaming

Title says it all, I mostly stream Fortnite. When I am not streaming the game feels fine, I cap at 160 FPS and it stays 160 steady. But when I stream, I still get my 160 FPS but my game is very laggy. Not sure if there is a setting that I am missing but I could really use some help.
Specs:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
Intel 8th Gen I5 8600
16gb RAM DDR4

Log is missing
Do you have a second monitor and does this one also run at 160Hz? If so, is this "laggy" feeling still there, when you make sure no program/window is opened on the second monitor?
