ok so i think i have a bit different problem.
I play Populous the Beginning game online and I try to stream it using dxtory and OBS my streaming is fine as of my settings and videos are as expected from my net and settings.
But the problem is when I am playing the game the game flashes / blinks too much which makes it annoying.
Populous the beginning has 2 modes software mode and D3Dmode(hardware mode)
obviously dxtory only recognizes d3d mode and records it only and when i play the game it flashes.

A guy on the website of this game amade a guide to stream this game using monitor capture but it was hell of a hassle because it uses DxWnd which gives lots of problems.
Some one please check out the game and tell me a way to work around this problem.
EDIT 1 : game flashes only when playing multiplayer not the singleplayer

If Dxtory is causing the flashing then this question should be directed to the Dxtory support forums.

No, Sir, the flickering /flashing/blinking of game is caused when i use monitor capture too.
In that case it doesnt flash when i use software mode of the game, but ofc monitor capture isnt recommended
im on windows 7 ultimate x86

Monitor capture doesn't work on full screen games, so you'd have to run the game in windowed mode.

game does not support windowed mode sir and as i stated above monitor capture is a hassle.
can i use game capture or window capture for it? If yes how?
i tried game capture but in the application drop down list there is nothing to select its completely empty

Hmm so no help i guess
just to add i noticed one more thing
the flshing/blinkiing reduces when the game scene gets more intense like more fighting spells destrution etc and some times even doesnt flash at all but starts flashing again when the scene gets normal again.

Do you know which dx version the game uses? To capture a fullscreen application you have to use GameCapture, which supports dx9 and upwards as well as OpenGL.
Monitor and Window capture will give the mentioned flickering because they are not meant to capture fullscreen games or apps.
So if neither dxtory or gamecapture works, you might have to use the dxwnd workaround with monitor capture :/
