I won't even have to be recording for my game to be lagging. For example when I'm playing Minecraft I get 1k+ fps. Once I open OBS I go down to 600 and when I try recording I go to 200fps. I have the latest version of OBS as well but that didn't fix my issue.

NVIDIA GTX 1070 ti
Corsair Vengeance 16gb clocked @ 3133MHz.
