Game doesn't lag, but recording does

specs: rtx, 3070, i5-12600kf, 1920x1080 240hz 27inch monitor.

I just recently built a new pc, and my games run fine, but when I look at it from my files the recording seems laggy and choppy. Especially when moving around quickly in game.

However, I just uploaded it on youtube so you guys could get a visual understanding, and it seems to run smoothly. but quality still looks bad.

even if i use mkv it still has the same issues, i only used mp4 to see if it made a difference w the recording issues

please re-read the instructions. Your log doesn't show a completed recording, only a started one.

update: i put the video in AE and it all seems fine, everything is fixed for some reason. I guess it's the windows media player that makes it buggy, but it fixes itself when I import it into other software like VLC and AE. Any fix for this?

Ultimately, nothing on obs' side can make windows' built in media player be "not junk"
