Bug Report Game crashes on Start of Stream/Preview

Hello everyon,

As described in the title: I was trying to stream "Elemental: Fallen Enchantress" which ran fine on my computer before and after my tries to stream it.
Every time when I hit "Start Streaming" or "Start Stream-Preview" the GAME (not OBS) froze and closed with the windoes error message "Program not responding"
I tried to use
1. Game Capturing
2. Monitor Capturing
3. Windows Capturing
(4. Area Capturing)
The Game always crashed the same way.
(OBS did capture the screen of the game perfectly when not in the game itself, but when i switched to the game it immediately crashed)
I can post a log-file if needed.

Is this issue known or are there any workarounds?

Thank you for reading and answering.
Innocenz.

I have the same or a similar problem.
Captures fine when previewing/streaming prior to alt-tabbing back into the game if its fullscreen afterwards the game just crashes. no error message. just stops responding and then closes.

Oh and the game is Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City

here is my log file

I'm having the same issues with RAGE. I was going to make a new thread regarding it, but glad I came across this one since an error report isn't even given.

Disabling a source does not fully remove it from a scene and it is always somewhat active. Currently you need to fully delete the source for it to be fully inactive. Game capture for example was present in all of your tests, and that was probably what was causing your crashes each time. You need to actually remove it completely or create a new scene without it if possible when using window capture or monitor capture (window capture is recommended)

Ah thanks, it's working fine now.

Well since game capture was crashing the game and window capture couldn't see EFLC I had to use monitor capture.

Ah okay, might be an OpenGL game or something. That's usually what happens.. Quite frustrating, admittedly.
