Hi there
I have just started with OBS. I am trying to record gameplay so I can edit and upload to YouTube so, I am not live streaming. When I open up my game and the OBS software, I can clearly see the game in the window.
However, when I go to record or preview, the screen on OBS is very jumpy. It gets stuck on a screen and doesn't move but it is still recording all of the sound, whereas the game itself is running perfectly smoothly.
For example, I was playing a bit of Minecraft yesterday, it would record the first minute or so and then the screen would get stuck and I could hear all of the noise and sound but no screen, then it would jump about a minute ahead to where I am presently. Hopefully this all makes sense.
My computer spec is an i5 with intel HD 4600 graphics card (built in). 6GB ram running on windows 8.1.
I can;t see any reason that my CPU isn't up to the task.
Best wishes
