Question / Help Game Caputre black screen

I am new to OBS. Was using xsplit but heard better reviews about OBS. I tried using the game capture source to capture League of Legends and I get a black screen. I been searching through the forums and no one has any solutions to this black screen issue. I can see my game fine one full screen/borderless/and windowed but still black screen using game capture. I ran the program as 32bit and 64bit admin and still nothing works. Monitor capture works only for borderless and windowed but not full screen. The only problem using monitor capture is the frames drop dramtically. Usually get 60fps but using monitor capture drops to nearly 40-30-even 15. So I really want to know how to use the game capture without complete black screen. Also used the game capture for the LoL not in game, while in lobby, and it comes out to be a very very tiny box not visible to the eye. Then went into properties to stretch image and aspect ratio and it became distorted badly. But it still doesnt work for in-game. PLEASE HELP. I kept clicking in the top button of settings for my log and nothing opens up for my log.

Can you post the contents of captureHookLog.txt which is located in %appdata%\OBS\plugindata

Some black screen issues I've experienced with LoL prior to the 3.7 patch and their solutions...
1. Run OBS in admin mode
2. If you have multiple monitors, when adding LoL try moving OBS to the same monitor, you can move it back to a different monitor after you have the source added.

Now some notes post 3.7 specifically about the LoL Client and not actual Game...
Game still works fine with no problems, however the client will not appear on stream or preview. I am getting the same tiny box issues and distortion when stretched. I've got a feeling this may be related to the following patch note "Adobe AIR no longer uses the Debug Launcher and has been updated to version 3.7. This should result in increased client stability."

For reference I use Game Source for the LoL Game and Window Capture for the LoL Client.

Due to new issues popping up in the LoL 3.7 patch this might be more properly placed in the Bug forum. (if a mod wants to move it)

Is Aero enabled or disabled? Have you tried Compatibility mode on the Window capture?

Aero is enabled and Compatibility mode on the Window capture enabled...window capture is alot better than monitor capture. Just having a problem with game capture

Not sure what you're referring to. I wasn't posting any new problem. I was providing solutions to the LoL client black screen issues which I had managed to solve and hoped they might help the OP. Then as an additional note I provided information about the listed symptoms the OP experienced which are related to a bug acknowledged here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4300

I'm sorry if you weren't aware and were confused about the bug that cropped up with the LoL Client 3.7 update.

Sorry again then...I thought you were reporting a problem with capturing the LoL pre-game client when the OP was talking about capturing the actual LoL game.
