Question / Help Game capture / window capture: window list is empty

If SteamVR is running, the only option is vrcompositor.exe. If SteamVR is NOT running, even if I've completely quit out of Steam itself, there's no options at all. "Capture any fullscreen application" and the hotkey don't pick up any game, VR or not.

Found a workaround...

OBS works if it's started BEFORE the first time SteamVR is run since the system last booted. For whatever reason, if SteamVR was started before OBS, no amount of restarting either of them, in any order, will fix anything; you have to reboot the whole machine.
