Bug Report Game Capture stream lag?

Member
Trying to use game capture to maybe increase my fps in game which i've been trying to do for about a week now. Game capture does indeed increase my fps by a bit. But the preview stream is choppy. Any ideas?

I think there is an issue with some GPUs and the preview being choppy (AMD related, I believe). It shouldn't affect your actual stream, and you can just right click the preview and disable it if its causing problems.

Welp, you're on an Nvidia one, albeit an older one. Your frame times are pretty good, so the preview stream shouldn't really be choppy. Does it affect just your preview window or is the stream also laggy?

The other thing is, 20 FPS is naturally going to look kind of choppy.

Hm. I lowered it to 20 because I was trying to raise my ingame frames, I could raise it to 30. It affed the stream, I was monitoring it on another PC.

That processor will struggle to do 30fps at that resolution at stock speeds. I suggest setting a custom resolution to 852x480 at 25fps, maybe 30 at that resolution.
