Question / Help Game Capture Specific Window Mode is a Black Screen error for me on this game.

So I was going to record myself playing Bejeweled 2 Deluxe with OBS, and apparently when I use Game Capture and put the mode as "Game Specific Window", the game isn't showing up and it's just a black screen for me. Now you're gonna ask what bit I use for my computer and what OS is it. Well it's Windows 8.1 and it's 64bit. (Since Bejeweled 2 Deluxe can only become windowed in 16 or 32bit) But now for the problem I'm having: How do I fix the black screen error that occurs whenever I try the Game Capture on Bejeweled 2 Deluxe?

Some games can't be captured. If that's the case, the workaround is display capture.

Aww, I thought there was a solution to that.

Do you know any other streaming recorders out there that can capture games that OBS can't?

You can try XSplit and see if it works. Another thing you can try is enabling/disabling the Force Scaling option in properties. Sometimes you need to use Force Scaling for it to work, and other times enabling and disabling will make it show up. This is not always a solution but it's something worth trying.
