Last game capture log:
2013-08-27, 05:58:39: we're booting up:
05:58:39: DXGI Present
05:58:39: (half life scientist) everything.. seems to be in order
05:58:39: DXGI: Found D3D 10
05:58:39: setting up d3d10 data
05:58:39: ---------------------- Cleared D3D10 Capture ----------------------
05:58:39: found dxgi format (dx10) of: 28, size: {1024, 768}, multisampled: false
05:58:39: DoD3D10Hook: success
05:58:39: successfully capturing d3d10 frames via GPU

When I stop streaming, the d3d10hook doesn't report anything about me stopping...

I am using kentei's d3d10drv which can be found here: http://www.kentie.net/article/d3d10drv/

I would be using Chris Dohnal's UTGLR but it crashes my GPU driver when streaming with OBS for long periods of time, it can also be found here: http://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/

UT99? How big is the UT99 community? Do people still play it like.. the way we used to play it? I had so many good times.

...er, anyway, could you define what you mean by "used to work"? Do you mean possibly that a recent version changed this? Can you verify this by trying older versions? Or maybe it just happened out of nowhere?

That's the funny thing... I was using it just fine with this version then suddenly it crapped out on me.

I tried the old test release which by the way worked just fine... but now it's breaking.

I really don't know what to tell you right now, my computer is really really odd at the moment...

Test release I was using before upgrading to OBS v0.552b was v0.54.08 network/gc test

As for the UT99 community... meh I couldn't tell you. All I remember was the stupid deathmatch servers with one shot kill weapons that fire ridiculously fast (BinSlayer 3000 comes to mind... as does mercury missile and cherry bomb rifle) and the "adult oriented" deathmatch maps which really killed it for me. Oh and said mods stole meshes from AgentX, Infiltration, etc...

I stream UT99 because I've been making really random mutators for the game, it's really the only thing I might ever do for modding when it comes to UT99, all of my mods are meant for Unreal 1.

Ah man, that's really depressing. Old UT99 vanilla was so good. I was one of those guys who liked it better than quake for some reason.

Anyway, I don't know if OBS itself is to blame here, I'm not entirely sure what it could be, there's always some cause for every effect so something had to have happened. Just have to figure out what that was somehow.

Could be AMD driver shenanigans but I'm scared to update the catalyst drivers everytime... Either it fixes stuff or it breaks things even more than before... I wish they'd hire more competent programmers to write their drivers...

Case in point AMD drivers...

I did something to trigger the driver to crash and have windows 7 restart it automatically and now everything's working again.
