so I've been using obs to capture videos for a long time. unfortunately my GPU encoding has decide to take a nice flop on my recording rig whenever i record game-play of a fairly intensive game like BF1 or Subnuatica i get perfectly fine audio with only 1 still frame every few minutes and Dishonored just straight out crashes randomly. but when i pay a non graphics heavy game like space engineers, besiege the recording has no issues. this happens with all recording software I've tried. when I rely on my 8 core CPU it does not fix this issue whether i record to SSD or HDD this has led me to debate getting a capture card to do my encoding that SATA ports are all SATA III so i know its not my Mobo the GPU occasionally gives me black screens (which is a common display bug of AMD GPU's). I'm assuming my GPU has a corrupt encoder, corrupt chunk of VRAM. I CAN'T afford a new GPU at the time but i can afford a cheaper solution. I've looked a the Razer Ripsaw the Aver-media extreme cap u3 and the Elgato HD 60 s pro PCI-e card. But i cant figure out which would do me better in taking the encoding load of my CPU ?

CPU: AMD Fx-8350
GPU: R9 380
Mobo: Msi 970a-g46
Drives:
Kingston hyper x savage 240gb
Seagate barracuda 1 tb Hard drive
Cooler: Corsair h100i
PSU: Corsair CX750m
