Question / Help Game capture not working

I choose game capture for the source. then for the mode I choose capture specific window. Then I choose the window and the game doesnt show up. Its just a black screen. I have none of the boxes check and my hook rate is normal. IS there anything I can do to fix this? I recently switched over to windows because syphon inject wasnt working, and now this doesnt work either lol. BTW for context I tried 2 different games and neither have worked.

You may want to see if anti-cheat software has something to do with it. Right click on the game capture source to bring up its properties.
Then, fiddle with the settings.

Some games can't be captured. Some capture modes require your OBS be setup in a certain way.

It would help to see a log, preferably one with a stream/record attempt (completed) in it:

As I was trying to fiind the log thing It randomly started to work. WTF. Thanks guys i guess? LOL
