Question / Help Game Capture not working with League of Legends

I had been able to record using OBS for about a month... several days ago, it inexplicably stopped working for me. Specifically, the game capture feature leads to a black screen when attempting to capture League of Legends. I've attempted deleting the scenes, and remaking them to no avail. Window capture appears to work. My OBS client is up to date, etc. I'm running Windows 7. I've also run OBS in admin mode... and League in admin mode. I've uninstalled and reinstalled OBS. Nothing seems to work... it's very strange.

Are you trying to capture the lobby client with game capture by any chance ? Use window capture or (monitor capture with aero off) for that.. You should only use game capture when trying to grab the ingame client.

Yes, I was attempting to capture the lobby using game capture. I can attempt to use window capture instead... however, using game capture to capture the lobby WAS working for me up until about a week ago... so I'm wondering why it doesn't appear to be working now.

Also I tried both enabling and disabling aero... it didn't make a difference.

Is there a reason why game capture doesn't work on the lobby... or why it was working, and now isn't?

The reason game capture was working on the lobby was because flash probably had hardware acceleration enabled or something, which would cause game capture to work. It's unreliable for flash though, so I recommend window capture.
