Game capture not working for most games

Hi,
I have an issue where my games are not being captured by game capture and window capture does not work as well as it uses too much resources which seemingly results in my OBS or the game crashing.

My log is below where i am trying to get Valorant captured then recreate the game capture to capture the Bazaar and neither of them work, showing only black screen. However, the game capture does work on games like Dota 2 and Nine Sols for example.

Also, the game capture seems to be capturing the sound of the games (only tested it on Valorant) but not the visuals.

Any tips on how to make the game capture work?

For Valorant, use screen capture. Game capture isn't possible due to the anticheat within Valorant that requires a Valorant update to work with the current version of OBS again.

The Bazaar has always to be captured with Window capture according to web research. It seems their game engine never worked with game capture.

What other games do you mean with "most games" not working with game capture? If you tried 2 games, it's probably "most games" for you however since there are so many other games out there, this is a bold statement that's somewhat misleading.

Hi, the other games i tried that do not work with game capture are Dead by Daylight, Hunt Showdown and Marvel Rivals. They are all online games that does not work for me, perhaps it is the anti cheat in all of them?

However, i have a friend that streams in OBS and Dead by Daylight and Hunt works just fine with game capture for them and another friend that streams with StreamLabs that has Valorant working with game capture. I have tried StreamLabs as well but i get the same result for everything like in OBS so idk where the issue lies for me.

The games that work are also all single player, i have not yet encounter one that would not work.

Multiple Game Capture sources are usually not needed, and can sometimes interfere with each other )scene 'Drawing'). You can use the same Game Capture for all your games. If you change games often, try out the hotkey mode, which lets you press a key to select your active game. If you play games in fullscreen, use 'Capture any fullscreen application' mode.

Still haven’t figured out how to get DbD working properly with OBS. Capture just doesn’t behave — sometimes it’s a black screen, sometimes it flickers, and after a while, I get tired of troubleshooting. I decided to try a few online casino games. Wasn’t really planning on it, but they loaded fast, ran straight from the browser, and OBS didn’t complain once. It was just easy, and honestly, that’s exactly what I needed. Most of the sites I’ve used let you start with a $10 deposit, which is perfect for how casual I keep it. I usually check https://casinosfest.com/fr/casino-en-ligne-10-depot/ for guides on Canadian platforms that offer $10 deposit options. It’s a convenient way to get a sense of the options without spending too much time. So, until I sort out the OBS situation with DbD, this is a good workaround that lets me keep streaming enjoyable content for my followers.

I'll tell you this as someone with almost 1k hours in Dead by Daylight. The game often has compatibility issues with other software. OBS works perfectly fine for me, but when I tried recording with Nvidia Experience, it didn’t always capture the image properly. As for the anti-cheat, both DBD and Hunt use the same one, but I can’t say with 100 percent certainty that it’s the source of the problem. I haven’t tried streaming Hunt myself, but my friends haven’t had any issues with it. It’s possible that some other app running in the background is interfering with the capture.
