Hello, recently I have been having issues recording games with OBS. When a game is in fullscreen, and I alt+tab out to set up OBS for livestreaming, it acts as if the game is not running. I can understand why it does this at first, because the game is minimized, and not recording frames. When I tab back into the game though, it still acts as if the game is not sending out any frames to be recorded.
The game capture works perfectly fine when it's capturing a game in windowed mode as you can see here:
The problem is, when I switch from windowed mode to fullscreen while it's working, the OBS game recorder freezes on the last frame that was recorded while in windowed mode. So when the game is in fullscreen, for some reason it does not register that frames are being sent from the game. I feel like if I was running on two screens the issue would be fixed, but I'm stuck with one screen for the time being (since I don't have any other 1080 screens), and would like to know if there is a fix for this. If it helps, my operating system is Windows 8 if you couldn't tell from the pictures. Also, it seems this lower end game works just fine (Ace of Spades):
